Each season in Niagara Canada brings a breath of fresh air to enjoy recreation and the outdoors.

Spring, summer and fall are the best times to enjoy the region’s 300 km of bike trails, 48 golf courses, 42 nature conservation areas, and the many beaches and waterfronts at Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. It’s also the time to hike the Bruce Trail, Canada’s longest footpath, and explore the natural wonder of the Niagara Escarpment. Camp, fish, picnic, walk the trails or just enjoy being surrounded by nature in Niagara’s Conservation Areas, spread over 2,870 hectares of some of the most sensitive and unique natural areas in the region. In the winter the numerous arenas in the region provide opportunities for skating and hockey.

Any time of the year you’ll find excellent recreational facilities – from public swimming pools to sporting facilities and community centres, along with a wide range of sports, games and activities to participate in. Whether you are a sports enthusiast, nature lover or passionate spectator, you’ll feel at home.
